Conversations with Ginny

G: I want to paint, Can I paint?
M: No, sweetie, it is dinner time now.
Repeat about 10 times
G: ok, I won't ask you anymore.
Phew!

"Mommy, why is your hair orange? Did they use a crayon, or paintbrush?" (After seeing a botched hair dye job)

M: Please get in your carseat
G: Why? Will the police take me away?

To any medical professional: "Do you have pokey things?"

Conversation with Ginny

Here are a few if my favorite moments lately:

"Here's the deal: I get a sucker, then I wash my hands, then I get a sucker."
Well played, my little negotiator!

"Mommy, I still love you even when you are mad."
Melt! Oh, but I guess that means I'm mad a lot?

"Do you like Mickey Mouse? Maybe we can go there someday together."
Sounding so grown up!

And best of all, we discovered that you are totally capable of holding a conversation on the phone, the trick is that we must leave you alone and give you some space. Lately when I called from work, I get to hear all about your morning and what you have been doing, it makes me so happy!
